Briggs & Stratton designed the new Ferris SRS Z3X to handle high mowing speeds in wide open areas on extreme terrain, all while offering productivity-enhancing agility. The company says the Soft Ride Stand-On (SRS) commercial mower also provides:
- A lightweight design to ensure faster starting and stopping, plus centralized weight for quicker turning around tight corners.
- A standard-locking four-position speed control to help achieve a quality cut in a wide range of conditions.
- Availability of a 61- or 72-inch mower deck, and a 37-gross HP/992cc Vanguard BIG BLOCK EFI engine with Oil Guard or a 29.5-gross HP/852cc Kawasaki FX850 EFI engine.
- A pivoting front axle that allows the deck to follow the front axle, ensuring optional traction.
- An operator platform with five adjustable positions, which can be tuned in the field, to allow the operator to select the ride based upon operator weight, conditions or personal preference.
- 5-inch anti-scalp wheels made from high-impact polypropylene copolymer to prevent damage to turf and 13-inch flat-free caster tires to ensure the operator doesn’t have to change a tire on the job.
- 24-inch rear-drive wheels for a smoother ride, better traction and easier curbing.
- A four-year or 500-hour limited warranty, whichever comes first.
