
Ferris says its popular IS 3200Z Series will feature three new top-of-the-line commercial engine options for model year 2016. Commercial cutters can select a Briggs & Stratton 32-gross-hp, 896cc Vanguard Big Block; a Briggs & Stratton 37-gross-hp, 993cc Vanguard Big Block with EFI; or a Kawasaki 35-gross-hp, 999cc FX1000V engine.
“The IS 3200Z is known as a commercial workhorse,” says Bill Shea, vice president of commercial sales for Ferris. “These three engine options will only enhance its performance and reliability in the field.”
Other key features include:
- Patented suspension system consists of rear coil-over-shocks with front independent adjustable coil-over-shocks; designed to allow operator to mow faster on uneven terrain with a consistent quality of cut
- Dual commercial Hydro-Gear ZT-5400 Powertrain transaxles with 9-inch cooling fans
- 61- or 72-inch fabricated steel iCD Cutting System with professional lawn striper
- Hercules II cast-iron greaseable mower spindles
- Foot-operated deck lift with adjustable cutting-height positions
- Premium high-back adjustable seat
- 26-inch drive tires
