Exmark recently launched a suspended platform-equipped version of the Radius S-Series zero-turn riding mower to deliver a smooth ride to minimize operator fatigue, while maintaining productivity, durability and cut quality. According to the company, additional features of the machine include:

  • Three independent coil-over dampers to isolate the cast aluminum operator platform from the mower chassis.
  • A 3-inch vertical travel capability that minimizes the effect of bumps and vibration.
  • A trailing arm design to minimize lateral movement of the suspended platform to increase stability.
  • Coil-over hydraulic dampers designed to last the lifetime of the machine, making the suspended platform virtually maintenance-free.
  • Forward speeds of up to 9 MPH.
  • A choice of 48-, 52- or 60-inch UltraCut Series 3 cutting decks, or a 60-inch rear-discharge cutting deck.
  • An air-cooled 708cc Exmark twin-cylinder engine.
  • A heavy-duty canister air filtration system to protect the engine from dusty and dirty cutting conditions.
  • Maintenance-free sealed bearing blade spindle assemblies, tools-free belt access and an integrated oil drain hose for quick, clean oil changes.
  • Four grease points on the entire machine to reduce routine maintenance needs.
  • An integrated jack receiver welded to the frame for easy access to the underside of the cutting deck and chassis when equipped with the Exmark jack accessory.
