Honda Power Equipment redesigned its HRX Series premium residential lawn mowers with a GCV200 engine that delivers 10 percent more power and torque to the mower’s blades than the GCV190 it’s replacing, along with design and technology features that produce a clean, smooth cut. The company says its Honda HRX line is also highlighted by:

  • The power to groom grass to a carpet-like finish, plus cut taller and thicker grass without stalling—saving time and wear on the engine.
  • The Honda Versamow System that employs a lever, located behind the engine cowling, to operate a sliding door between the lawn mower deck and the grass bag, allowing you to easily choose—or change—the preferred mowing option, whether bagging, mulching, or simultaneous bagging and mulching.
  • Clip Director technology to facilitate the bagging, mulching, or simultaneous bagging and mulching of grass clippings in varying degrees through 10 separate settings—all without separate tools.
  • A setting for leaf shredding that recirculates leaves until they are small enough to pass into the rear-discharge grass bag.
  • A streamlined engine layout that saves time by making it easier to fill the fuel tank, monitor and change the oil, and access the sparkplug and air cleaner.
  • An improved combustion chamber shape, advanced auto choke design, and easier fuel and oil filling, making the GCV200 engine convenient to use and operate.
  • Modern styling and a sleek, aerodynamic design.
