The Spider 3RIDER Remote-Controlled Mower Can Give You a Lift

Dvorak presents the Spider 3RIDER remote-controlled ride-on mower as the only option in its remotely operated machine portfolio to permit an operator to sit on and drive the machine. The Spider 3RIDER also boasts:

• The ability to be operated by a seated driver on slopes of up to 15 degrees, but when the slope becomes too extreme, the operator can dismount from the mower, yet continue to control it by remote control from a safe position away from the machine.
• Three different steering options, including DANCE STEP steering to enable omni-directional mowing without complicated maneuvering through the use of four-wheel drive and steering to allow the mower to move forward, sideways and backwards with unlimited continuous turning of all wheels through 360 degrees; a more sophisticated steering mechanism that allows each wheel to be steered independently, so the operator can use different configurations for varying terrains; and zero-turn mode in which all four wheels can be positioned at 45 degrees, allowing the mower to turn around its vertical axis without damaging grass or terrain.
• A front-mounted deck measuring 5 feet, 3 inches that incorporates seven small high-speed rotary motors and blades—the front row of four blades rotates in one direction, while the rear bank of three rotate in the other direction.
• A 24.9-HP Kubota diesel engine for a high-quality cut of 2.4 acres an hour, even in difficult conditions.
• Axles independently attached to the main frame to allow the mower to articulate on uneven terrain and a floating mowing deck to follow the contours of the terrain.
• Simple and quick changeover to a mulching option in which the standard blades are replaced with mulching blades, and a switch on one of the drive motors is activated so that all blades rotate in the same direction.
• No greasing or lubrication points to ease maintenance.
