Three primary settings are offered: •A – short, light grass; dry conditions; for smaller clippings •B – use when bagging •C – tall, dense grass; wet conditions; lowers engine consumption; increased ground speed in heavy conditions “Contractors often mentally mark where they want to set it,” says Toro’s Edric Funk. “Many use a B+ position, but when the grass is a little wispy they may shift to an A-. The point is that, for different times of year and different mowing conditions, it’s important to have flexibility.”
