Autmow Promotes Robotic Lawn Mowing

Jeff Lattimer started Autmow Robotic Mowing two years ago while working as a project manager for Abbott Laboratories soon after purchasing a robotic lawn-mower system for his Westerville, Ohio home. He built the business through 2017, and went full time into sales, service and consulting, representing several equipment manufacturers, in early June.

Q: How did you become interested in automated mowers?

A: I actually saw one at a trade show about six years ago and I started researching them just because I wanted one for my home. From there, I learned more and more about them and the market, and I realized the product had been out there for 22 years, but it hadn’t taken off in the U.S.
