Avant Tecno USA plans to release its e5 fully electric, battery-powered articulated loader with no emissions, minimal noise levels, low operating costs and an in-machine charging unit. The compact loader also offers:
- A 240-Ah lead-acid battery and the power to perform between one and four hours, depending upon the type of work being done.
- Two electric motors—a 6-kW motor for driving the machine, and a 2-kW motor for loader boom operation and auxiliary hydraulics.
- An 8-GPM auxiliary hydraulics flow, which allows working with various Avant attachments, including a hydraulic hammer and various grapples.
- An onboard, in-machine charging unit that enables easy charging from any 230-V/16-A power outlet and permits the loader to operate while charging.
- Approximately five hours for the battery pack to charge 100 percent, but it can reach 80 percent battery capacity within three hours.
- Suitability for environments with strict noise requirements.
- The flexibility to fit all standard Avant attachments.
