Landscape Company Challenges Slip-and-Fall Lawsuit

Says plaintiff can’t prove negligence or recklessness, and punitive damages should be off the table.

As reported by the Penn Record, a Pennsylvania landscape company has filed preliminary objections in response to a lawsuit where a plaintiff alleged it failed to perform adequate snow removal services and was then injured.

The plaintiff filed suit after she allegedly slipped and fell at a store where she worked.

The landscape company is objecting to the plaintiff’s claims of negligence and recklessness in its alleged failure to provide adequate snow and ice control at the property.
