Generation 2 Loaders

Terex has introduced its first compact track loaders and skid steers specifically designed for landscaping. The Generation 2 (GEN2) loaders feature more than 100 enhancements from previous models, and are available in both radial and vertical lift-path patterns with rated operating capacities from 665 to 3,600 pounds.

Key features include:

• Tier 4 Final engines
• Improved quick-attach pin profile
• Cylinder seal package includes three additional sealing surfaces to eliminate potential leakage
• Wear bands to reduce side load strain
• High-torque, stainless-steel clamps
• Upgraded hydraulic couplers
• One million-cycle hoses on all high-pressure applications
• Standard and heavy-duty "W" style crimps on loader and drive hoses
• Improved O-ring installation processes

In addition to the 100-plus improvements, the track loaders do retain the Terex Posi-Track suspended undercarriage technology and proprietary all-rubber track system for improved traction, higher flotation and better operating comfort—even at higher travel speeds.
