One Dead After Two Landscaping Trucks Collide on Interstate

Landscaping truck tumbles down slope and catches fire, driver killed.

Two landscaping trucks with trailers collided on a Las Vegas freeway on Wednesday, September 17.

The accident happened at the Summerlin Parkway and 215 Beltway intersection around 10 a.m. One of the trucks ended up veering off the highway and down a rock slope, eventually catching fire. The driver, a man in his 30s working for Par-3 Landscape in Vegas, later died. Three of the other five passengers were taken to the hospital. Two occupants in the second vehicle also were taken to the hospital.
