Extreme-Duty Tree Clipper Cuts Hardwoods Up to 9 Inches in Diameter

Manitou Americas added a new EDGE Extreme-Duty High-Reach Tree Clipper to its lineup of tree shear attachments for compact loaders. According to the company, the EDGE additionally offers:

• The ability to cut hardwoods up to 9 inches in diameter, even at the ground level.
• Extra-long upper and lower plates to add strength to the clipper head, and two extra bars on the mount to increase stabilization. 
• Self-centering T-1 tempered steel blades.
• An easy-release feature on the clipper head to eliminate limbs and trees from wedging between the blades. 
• Self-cleaning side spacers to reduce the daily maintenance of cleaning debris from the side of the blades. 
• The inclusion of a wireless remote, hoses, couplers, a solenoid valve and a valve guard.
• Suitability for use in the commercial or rental industries.
