PBI-Gordon Corporation Avenue South broadleaf herbicide is developed from a combination of multiple active ingredients, designed to deliver effective control in sensitive southern grasses. The formula controls more than 90 listed weeds including clover, dollarweed, dandelion and Virginia buttonweed. PBI-Gordon says that the weeds should be actively growing with adequate soil moisture at the time of Avenue South application.
- Water-based soluble liquid formula with the active ingredients Penoxsulam, Sulfentrazone, Dicamba and 2,4-D
- Composed to be readily absorbed by roots, shoots and foliage
- Rapidly translocates throughout the plant
- Product works best in warm weather conditions with warm soil conditions, above 50°, avoid use in cold weather
- Broadleaf weeds exhibit leaf and stem curl or twisting, with a visible response within a few days of application, weed death projected to happen between 12-28 days
- Can be tank-mixed with common products, a jar test must be done before hand to determine compatibility
