Wisconsin-based Berlon Industries has released a new root and brush grapple for skid steers, loaders and compact tractors.
“This root and brush grapple is ideal for removing brush and for keeping fence and tree lines clear,” said Mike Ebben, president of Berlon Industries. “It’s also great for moving logs and rocks. Farmers and landscapers will find it especially useful.”
Key features of the new root and brush grapple include:
- Heavy-duty, 3/4-inch tines that can root out brush and small trees as the grapple collects the debris
- Tines are spaced 9 inches apart, allowing unwanted debris to fall through
- Tines are supported by two 1.25-inch solid round bars
- Grapple has powerful cylinders to ensure a tight grip on the load
- Comes standard with a universal mounting plate; Euro-style and other mounts are available
- 72-, 78- and 84-inch widths available
The Root and Brush Grapple is Berlon Model RG. It is sold via Berlon dealers throughout the Midwest and Upper Plains, as well as via online retailers.
Berlon Industries also recently introduced a heavy-duty extended-lip bucket designed for loaders and tractors with higher horsepower.
